I am a potato peeler: A potato peeler is usually seen at the bottom rank of the totem pole. It is in this simple repetitive task that you will find character. In most cases you will find people that feels they are too good for this job. On the other hand, there are a handful of strong willed individuals who are humbled by the whole experience. I always think of myself as a potato peeler, I enjoy the learning process as much as cultivating the craft. For me, this is a strong metaphor of a willing student, one that will go for great lengths just to pursue a dream. I am honest to say that I need help, a generous teacher to a loyal apprentice. I find tattooing to be the most intimate art form, It takes a lot of commitment to have a tattoo, a commitment both tattoer and canvas must possess. It is in that level of commitment that I present myself as a student. Please give the potato peeler a chance.... yours truly, the padawan....
